Parent & Carer Support

Supporting a child who is struggling emotionally can feel overwhelming, isolating, and exhausting. Many parents and carers come to this work feeling unsure, worried, or questioning whether they're "doing enough."

At Regulate Collective, parent support is offered through both 1–2–1 sessions and small group work, a calm, non-judgemental space to reflect, learn and feel supported. This work focuses on understanding emotional regulation, behaviour as communication, and how to support your child while also caring for yourself.

What this can cover

  • Understanding your child's emotional regulation and the developing brain

  • Attachment and relationships

  • Responding rather than reacting in difficult moments

  • Supporting your child through big emotions

  • Repair after things go wrong

  • Building connection and confidence, not judgement

1–2–1 sessions offer a confidential space to explore your family's situation and get tailored support. Group work gives you the chance to connect with other parents, share experiences, and pick up practical tools you can use straight away.

Whether you're looking for guidance, reassurance, or simply space to pause and think, parent support here is shaped around your pace.
