Private counselling is 1:1 work with adults and young people (12+). Parent & carer support helps you understand and respond to your child, individually or in a group. Schools & organisations work is wellbeing and counselling support delivered into a school or workplace setting. If you're not sure which fits, get in touch, that's exactly what the first conversation is for.

You'll hear back from me personally within 2 working days. For private counselling, I'll usually arrange a free 30-minute intro call as the next step before anything is booked in.

Both. I'm based in West Sussex and offer in-person sessions locally, alongside online sessions for anyone further afield.

I'm a BACP-registered therapist with over a decade's experience across schools, PRUs, residential homes and mental health services. I hold professional indemnity and liability insurance covering my practice, and an enhanced DBS certificate for my work with children and young people.

Yes. What you share with me is confidential, in line with the BACP Ethical Framework I work to. The only exceptions are where I have your consent to share something, where I'm required or permitted to by law, or where I believe you or someone else is at risk of serious harm, for example, a safeguarding concern, suicide risk, or serious crime. Wherever it's safe to do so, I'd talk this through with you first. Your data is also handled in line with UK GDPR.

There's no fixed length. Some people want a handful of sessions to work through something specific; others want longer-term support. We'll talk about what feels right for you at the intro call.
