Hello, I’m Derellanne (she/her).
Whether you’re a young person trying to make sense of the world, a parent navigating family challenges, or an adult looking to reconnect with your sense of self, you’re welcome here.
I’m a BACP-registered therapist with over a decade of experience working across a wide range of settings, including schools, PRUs, residential homes, and mental health services. I offer a warm, inclusive, and non-judgemental space for young people, families, and adults to explore whatever feels heavy, complicated, or unclear.
My approach is relational and trauma-informed, rooted in safety, connection, and seeing the human first. Sessions are shaped by your pace and your goals, and may include a blend of talking therapy, reflective coaching techniques, and creative tools, depending on what feels right for you or your child. Therapy with me is not about fixing or rushing change, but about gently exploring what’s happening beneath the surface and supporting emotional regulation over time.
Alongside my therapeutic training, I have led teams in safeguarding and wellbeing roles, worked within the LGBTQIA+ community, delivered creative mental health programmes in schools and communities, and co-authored trauma-informed resources. This breadth of experience allows me to tailor therapy to your needs, whether you’re seeking short-term support or longer-term exploration.
I offer a free 30-minute initial session, giving us space to connect, talk about what brings you to therapy, and explore whether I’m the right person to support you. There’s no pressure, just an opportunity to ask questions and get a feel for how I work.
Supporting a child who is struggling emotionally can feel overwhelming, isolating, and exhausting. Many parents and carers come to this work feeling unsure, worried, or questioning whether they are “doing enough”.
At Regulate Collective, parent support is offered through both 1–2–1 sessions and small group work, providing a calm, non-judgemental space to reflect, learn, and feel supported. This work focuses on understanding emotional regulation, behaviour as communication, and how to support your child while also caring for yourself.
1–2–1 parent sessions offer a confidential space to explore your individual family situation, ask questions, and gain tailored support. Group work offers the opportunity to connect with other parents, share experiences, and feel less alone, while learning practical tools you can take into everyday life.
Whether you are seeking guidance, reassurance, or simply a space to pause and think, parent support at Regulate Collective is shaped around your needs and your pace.
If you would like to learn more about parent support options, you’re warmly invited to get in touch for an informal conversation.
Hello I’m Linda (She/Her)
I’m a qualified Naturopathic Nutritionist with a non-traditional journey back into practice. After qualifying eight years ago. and with a lifelong passion for food and its ability to support the body’s natural healing, life took an unexpected turn. Significant health challenges within my family, particularly supporting my two daughters through their own mental health struggles, led me to step away from formal practice and into a period of deep, real-world learning.
Through this experience, I’ve seen first-hand how mental health, stress, emotional wellbeing, and food choices are inseparable. I’ve seen what happens when your diet isn’t working for you and when everything feels like a barrier to progress. Weight challenges, loss of control around food, and confusion about what to eat are rarely about willpower alone; they’re about support, balance, and sometimes underlying physical and hormonal issues.
I bring not only professional training in nutrition and weight-loss counselling, but also lived experience, empathy, and a grounded, compassionate approach.
I work with people who may be struggling with:
Weight challenges and metabolic balance
Emotional or mental-health-related dietary difficulties
Finding a sustainable, realistic way of eating
Adapting food choices across life’s natural bodily changes following stress, lifestyle
pressures and hormonal shifts
My approach is supportive, practical, sustainable, and non-judgmental. I aim to offer the kind of help that’s often missing, answering questions like:
What should I eat when anxiety drives cravings?
Can food help stabilise my mood?
How do I eat well when I feel too low to get out of bed?
Why does food guilt make everything feel worse?
Can nutrition help with brain fog or poor sleep?
What supports sleep during menopause?
How can I help my child or young adult who refuses to eat what I provide?
How do I find time?
We’d love to hear from you.
